Foster Care

Foster families are approved by the Agency after completing a thorough homestudy process. Prospective foster families must complete a mandatory pre-service course, which is provided by trained staff. Regular, on-going training opportunities are an integral part of the program encouraging foster parents to develop their expertise and knowledge in various areas. Foster parents may also join the Foster Parent Association as a form of peer support and education.

Foster Care Services are available to children and youth who in the care of the Agency.
