Intensive Service ProgramThe Intensive Service Program provides counselling and support to families and children in their homes or in the community who are experiencing crisis situations. The Intensive Service program is intense and concentrated over a six to eight week period. The intense and frequent contact allow for a thorough assessment and concise goal setting to address the most pressing issues facing the child and family. The service is offered to children and adolescents up to 18 years of age and their families residing the in the District of Muskoka. Participation in this program is voluntary and consents are required. Services provided include:
The 0 – 6 year intensive service workers provide a broad spectrum of services to families, emotional support, education and referrals to other community-based programs.
