Telepsychiatry Services

Specialized services are available to families in this District via teleconferencing.  Families can receive the services of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers or neurologists without having to leave the community.

The Telepsychiatry Services include professional consultations and assessment through observation and interviews with parents or guardians and the child or youth. 

Referrals to this service are initiated by a Family, Youth and Child Services of Muskoka staff member who is currently providing a service to a family.  Consents are required and participation in the program must be voluntary.
